My whorl patterns originate
from a harmonic table, which is a compound pendulum table that I swing and torque,
giving me the harmonogram or Lissajous figure. They are made of wood, aluminum,
brass, copper or mylar and then decorated with combinations of airbrush, enamel
and /or glitter, stain, dremmel engravings, petina finshes etc... The reflections,
as well as the moiré array shadows they create, are mesmerizing as they
dance with spiraling movement. The examples you see here are only made with
mylar. Copper, brass, wood and aluminum are available go to Whorl
Prices. On 05/12/05 the design patent #20050097799 was issued to include
all shapes and materials.

My playful motif mobiles
are made with various items. I've composed them each uniquely with a wire structure,
shape and form which adds to the theme whether they fluidly swim, fly, float,
form a heart, dance and more as they move.
